Tattoo Convention Expected to Draw 10,000 Patrons to Boston
BOSTON, MA – August 1, 2011 – The Boston Tattoo Convention announces today that it will be presenting its 10th Annual Boston Tattoo Convention during Labor Day Weekend on September 2 – 5, 2011 at the Boston Back Bay Sheraton Hotel.
The Boston Tattoo Convention has been a tradition for the past 9 years. Artists, collectors, shops, vendors, performers, and people from all walks of life will flock to Boston’s Back Bay for a weekend full of tattooing, art, and entertainment.
“We are extremely excited for the convention this year. We have great tattoo artists, full event schedule, which includes Burlesque shows, fashion shows, Traditional Japanese tattoo demonstrations and more,” said show producer and tattoo artist Natan Alexander. “We are also raising money for the Japanese Red Cross to aid our friends overseas.”
For this year’s landmark show, the Tenth Annual Boston Tattoo Convention is proud to return to the Boston Back Bay Sheraton Hotel. Nestled in the heart of the Back Bay district, the Sheraton Hotel is a stroll away from all of the best that Boston has to offer on Newbury Street, Copley Square, the Prudential Center and the Downtown area.
In addition, the full four days will last over labor day weekend in the Sheraton’s elegant 20,000 square foot Grand Ballroom. The extended weekend event will include a packed schedule full of seminars from top-tier artists, all available to tattoo the thousands of collectors who will be lining up to get tattooed. There will also be a fine art gallery, live music, tattooing from guest artists from Japan, a bikini contest, fashion show, burlesque performances, T-shirt giveaways and more.
