Exploring progressive techniques for insertion of microdermal anchors. All basic aspects of the practice will be covered including jewelry selection, prepping and marking, placement and body location, aftercare, insertion and removal. Live demonstration with an emphasis on freehand needle technique will be used wherever possible. Traditional surface piercing can also be covered time allowing.

Ryan Ouellette is an accomplished body piercer and scarification artist with over twelve years experience, he is also the owner of Precision Body Arts in Nashua, NH. Ryan is an instructor for the Body Mod Exchange Network (BMXNET) conference in Germany, a program contributor and instructor for the Association of Professional Piercers (APP) conference, and a former Body Modification E-Zine (BME) staff member and writer. This is Ryan’s second year instructing at the Boston Tattoo Convention and his ninth year piercing there.
